These two logs are soft maple, from the same tree. Cut and milled locally. It will need to air dry for at least a year before it’s ready to be used.
so the rain is ok?
it’s best to store them covered, from direct sun, rain, and wind if possible. these now have old metal roofing that i salvaged on top of them.
